About these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do.

Nothing on this website alone constitutes an offer capable of acceptance. Using the contact form is an enquiry only (see below).

If you are a consumer (an individual acting mainly outside a trade, business, craft, or profession), certain statutory rights apply to goods and services we supply. Those rights are not excluded by this website notice; any limits on liability below apply only as far as the law allows.

Quotes, estimates, and contracts for work

A member of our team will provide an estimate, often after a visit on site or at your home. We send the estimate by email; it includes a button you can use to accept the quote or estimate. When you accept through that process, your job is confirmed with us.

The detailed terms that apply to carrying out the work (including for different client types such as residential, commercial, or landlord customers) are those we agree with you for that job — for example in our estimate, order documentation, or separate terms of service where we use them.

Using this website

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

  • misuse or attempt to disrupt the site (for example by introducing malware, probing vulnerabilities, or overloading our systems);
  • scrape or harvest data from the site in bulk without our written consent;
  • impersonate us or anyone else, or use the site to send unlawful, defamatory, or harassing material.

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these rules are broken.

Enquiries and the contact form

Contact forms on this site are processed using Netlify Forms. The logical form name is contact. We collect the details you enter (for example first name, last name, email, optional phone, and message) together with hidden fields that record which page the enquiry came from ( source-label, source-path). A hidden honeypot field ( bot-field) helps reduce automated spam.

Submitting a form is an enquiry only. It does not book an appointment or create a contract for work. We aim to respond to genuine enquiries as soon as we reasonably can, but we do not guarantee a particular response time unless we have told you otherwise in writing.

How we use personal data from enquiries is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Services and information on this site

The site describes the kinds of work we undertake, including (among others) boilers, general plumbing, heating, bathrooms, extensions, commercial work, work for developers, and landlord services — broadly across Dorset and West Dorset, with areas such as Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester, and Bridport referenced on our site. Coverage, lead times, and availability vary by job type and location; please ask us if you are unsure whether we can help in your circumstances.

Descriptions, images, and case studies are for general information. They are not a substitute for a site visit, survey, or formal specification. We may change site content without notice.

Gas work, qualifications, and insurance

Gas work in the United Kingdom must be carried out by engineers on the Gas Safe Register. Our marketing states that gas work is performed by Gas Safe registered engineers. Our business registration number on the Gas Safe Register is 564139. Other plumbing and heating work may be carried out by appropriately qualified team members in line with our accreditations and the nature of the job.

We display professional accreditations on the site (including Gas Safe, City & Guilds, APHC, and WaterSafe, as shown in our footer and accreditation strip). Membership or registration details may change; the position at the time we carry out work for you applies.

We hold £10 million public liability insurance.

Intellectual property

The website design, text, logos, images, and other content are owned by us or our licensors unless otherwise stated. You may browse and print a reasonable copy for your personal reference. You must not copy, republish, or exploit our content commercially without our written permission.

Links to other websites

We may link to third-party sites (for example social media or trade bodies). Those sites are not under our control; we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Following links is at your own risk.

Website availability and disclaimers

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The site is provided on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. Browsing the site does not create a professional advisory relationship.

Limitation of liability (website use)

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) this website, including indirect or consequential loss, except where such exclusion is not allowed — for example in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

Loss or damage arising from work we carry out at your property (including warranties and statutory rights) is governed by the agreement for that job, not by this page alone.

Complaints

If you have a concern about this website or our services, please contact us first using the details at the top of this page so we can try to resolve it.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle disputes arising from or connected with use of this website, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in your home courts where the law requires.
